What's New:
Patients of Dentist Dr Sherzoy in Teaneck NJ say Invisalign braces give them the confidence to smile, even before their braces come off. Clear braces by Invisalign help patients achieve a perfectly straight smile without anyone knowing that they are using the special Invisalign system.
Invisalign braces offer an ‘invisible’ way to straighten teeth without using traditional metal braces, an attractive alternative for many patients. The Invisalign system uses a series of ‘invisible’, clear removable aligners to move teeth over time, resulting in a perfectly straight smile.

According to Dr Sherzoy, the Invisalign process is incredibly advanced, and technologically accurate. “We use 3-D computer imaging technology to create a complete treatment plan, from the starting position of a patient’s teeth, to their desired end result. Seeing the end result on the computer before their treatment even starts motivates patients to complete the process.”
Unlike traditional metal braces, the Invisalign braces are removable, so patients can eat or drink whatever they want simply by removing the aligners. This also helps patients maintain proper oral hygiene by allowing them to brush and floss as usual.
Only trained providers of Invisalign can treat patients with the system. Dr Sherzoy is trained and approved to offer the Invisalign system in his Bergen County dental office.

Dr. Bernard Rupnarain, a renowned Periodontist at the Bogota Dental Center, is hoping to help patients achieve a better understanding of the importance of oral hygiene and how it relates to their overall health and well-being. Dr Rupnarain is inviting all Bergen County residents to schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss the dangers, signs and methods of preventing gum disease.
An estimated 80 percent of American adults currently have some form of periodontal disease, an infection of the tissues that support the teeth. Symptoms of gum disease include:
Gum Disease is the leading cause of tooth loss among adults. More importantly, research has shown and experts agree that infections associated with the disease can lead to severe health risks including stroke and heart disease. It has also been shown that children of mothers with untreated tooth decay have four times the risk of decay compared with children of other mothers. Expecting women with gum disease are also more likely to give birth pre-term.
For diabetics, gum disease is especially dangerous. Severe periodontal disease can increase blood sugar, putting diabetics at increased risk for complications.
According to Dr. Rupnarain, “Something as simple as allowing plaque and tarter to accumulate on your teeth can lead to Gingivitis, an infection in the gums. If untreated, the infection will spread to the tissue and bone that holds teeth in place, leading to a host of other severe health problems.”
The series of complimentary consultations offered at Bogota Dental Center aim to educate residents on the dangers of neglecting oral health and avoiding bi-yearly visits to the dentist. Dr Rupnarain hopes that anyone that has neglected their oral hygiene will take advantage of the complimentary consultations, “If they do have signs of gum disease, we may be able to treat the problem before it spreads to their bone or tissue. The consequences are too severe to ignore the symptoms.”

Dr Sultan Sherzoy and the staff of Bogota Dentistry are extending our hands, and services, to the residents of Bergen County NJ. We hope to help residents improve oral healthcare by starting them on a regular routine of bi-yearly dental exams, the first being free to any new patient.
The free dental exam will be offered at his Bergen County dental office and includes:
The exam is valued at $338.
Dr Sherzoy and the staff at Bogota Dental would like for all new patients to experience the caring and professional services offered at our dental office risk-free. Dr Sherzoy says, “Too many people put off regular visits to the dentist because they don’t like their dentist, or they don’t know where to go. So now they can try Bogota Dental free of charge. I have been serving the community for over 16 years, I know they will feel confident and comfortable when they come to my office for their exam.”
The free dental exam offers patients more than just the opportunity to save money. The comprehensive dental exam could potentially detect early signs of cavities, gum disease, tooth decay and oral cancer. “Sometimes these problems cannot be fixed with simple fillings or deep gum cleaning. If the problem has progressed too far, more serious alternatives like surgery may be needed,” said Dr Sherzoy. “These are just a few of the reasons why it is so important for everyone to commit to bi-yearly dental visits.”
